Most businesses that come to us run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and three or four apps that do not share data. We replace that with one system built around how your team actually works. Typical builds:

Built for South African payments, languages and load-shedding
Payments in rand, on the gateways your customers trust
We integrate the gateway that suits your customers and your margins: Payfast or Peach Payments for online checkout, Yoco if you already use Yoco card machines and want online payments on the same account, Ozow for pay by bank straight from the customer's own bank account, and MTN MoMo where your customers already pay from the MoMo wallet. Each payment is confirmed by the gateway's server notification, such as Payfast's ITN or a Yoco webhook, never by the customer's browser, and matched to one order or invoice so your records reconcile. One thing to know before you plan around Stripe: it does not onboard South African-registered businesses directly. Its route into South Africa is Paystack, which Stripe owns, so we build on Stripe itself only when you also trade through an entity in a country Stripe supports.
English, Afrikaans and isiZulu
Staff screens, customer apps and SMS or WhatsApp message templates can be multilingual from day one, so a customer in Durban and a manager in Stellenbosch each use the system in the language they prefer. Built this way, adding Sesotho or isiXhosa later is a translation job, not a rebuild.
Designed for load-shedding and load reduction
Eskom has now gone more than a year without load-shedding, but it still applies load reduction in high-demand areas, concentrated in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, and is targeting national eradication by March 2027. Add local faults and a router that dies when the inverter runs flat, and a till that assumes a constant connection still fails at the worst moment. So we host your system in the cloud rather than on a server in your office, and build the front end to ride out the gaps:
- Tills, job cards and field forms that save work on the device and sync when the connection returns.
- Payment and order records that cannot be duplicated when a phone reconnects halfway through a request.
- Light pages that still load on mobile data when the office line is down.
POPIA and personal information
POPIA compliance stays with you as the responsible party, but four of its sections shape how we build and work. Section 19 requires reasonable technical and organisational security measures, so every system ships with role-based access, audit logs and encrypted connections. Section 24 lets a person ask you to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, excessive or no longer lawfully held, so your admin area can find, export, correct and delete a record. Because we process data on your behalf, section 21 calls for a written contract with us as your operator, and because we work from Uganda, section 72 limits transfers outside South Africa to recipients bound by adequate protection. Every project gets a written, fixed quote before work starts, so you never pay for hours that quietly run over. How you pay: 50% to start, 25% at an agreed midpoint, and 25% on delivery. Gateway transaction fees are charged in rand by the payment provider, separate from our build price.

When custom software is the wrong choice
Custom software is a serious investment, and for many South African businesses it is the wrong one. Do not build custom if:
- You sell from one online shop: a hosted store with a ready-made Payfast plugin takes card payments for a fraction of a custom build.
- You need standard payroll for a small team: established South African payroll packages already keep up with SARS tax tables and EMP201 submissions, and that upkeep is their job, not yours.
- You have not proved the business model yet, and a spreadsheet plus an off-the-shelf tool would let you test it for a few months first.
- Your process changes every week and nobody owns the decisions about how it should work.
Custom earns its cost when per-user licence fees climb with every branch you open, when Payfast, Ozow and MoMo payments need to land in one ledger, when branches must keep trading through outages, or when you need to control exactly where personal information is stored and who can see it.

We build the controls that support it, including role-based access, audit logs, consent records and tools to correct, export or delete a record.
