How our guides are made

Where the facts come from, who checks them, how often, and how to tell us we got something wrong.

Who publishes our guides

Our guides are published under the name of Growth Informer Software Services. They do not carry a personal byline. Until named reviewers agree to be listed, we do not list any. We do not invent authors, qualifications or testimonials.

How a guide is made

  1. Research from official sources. We start from the rules, forms and fee schedules published by the bodies in charge, such as URA and URSB.
  2. AI-assisted drafting. We use AI tools to help draft. They do not publish anything on their own.
  3. Human review of every fact. A person checks each fact against its source. That covers fees, dates and deadlines, and also the page title and the structured data behind the page.
  4. A date on the page. Each guide shows when it was last updated.

Keeping fee and tax pages current

Rates, fees and deadlines change. We review our fee and tax pages every quarter and show the date of the review on the page. If a figure changes between reviews and we learn of it, we fix the page sooner.

Corrections

Found a mistake? Email support@growthinformersoftwareservices.com with the subject Correction. Give the page, what is wrong and, if you can, the official source. We reply within one working day, check the claim and fix the page if it is wrong.

Independence

  • No paid placements. Nobody pays us to be named, ranked or linked in a guide.
  • We sell services. Our guides may point to our own services, such as tax agent services or website design. We aim to make that link obvious.
  • Not advice. Guides are general information, not tax, legal or financial advice. See our terms.
