The five things that actually move the number
Clients usually assume page count drives the price. It rarely does. These do.
- Payments. The moment money moves, you inherit reconciliation, failure handling, refunds and someone eventually asking where a transaction went. It is never just a button.
- User accounts. Logins mean passwords, resets, sessions, permissions and a support burden that lasts as long as the product does.
